2nd Chakra

Online One-Day Workshop:

"Creativity, Wholeness & Emotional Healing"

October 24, 2026

The second chakra connects us with the deeper ground of our creativity. Creativity here means much more than making art. It includes discovering what we like and dislike, what gives us pleasure, what we want, what feels true to us, and how we can be ourselves while still being connected to other people. These individual expressions arise from a deeper experience of creativity that, at its essence, is whole and unified.

We begin learning individual expression very early in life. As children, at a certain stage, we discover that we are separate people with our own feelings, desires, interests, and boundaries. We start moving out into the world, exploring what interests us and discovering what feels good or uncomfortable and where our limits are.

The Second Stage Dilemma

As young children, we naturally check back with our caregivers during this exploration. We may wander away to investigate something and then return for reassurance (a look, a touch, some encouragement, or simply the feeling that the caregiver is still there in a supportive way). Once we feel secure again, we venture back out. In this way, connection gives us the security to become more independent.

But what happens when checking back does not provide safety? A caregiver may be distracted and unavailable, unpredictable, critical, frightened by our independence, or uncomfortable with what we want and feel. We can begin to learn that reaching for what we want, saying no, being different, or moving away from another person feels unsafe.

We may begin to doubt what we feel and want. To please others, we give up our own needs. We may become preoccupied with issues of fairness, giving and receiving. We may struggle to have our reality recognized. Or, we may simply withdraw. Beneath these different reactions is often the same uncertainty: “Can I trust my own experience, interests, and choices and still be loved?”

What you will learn:

Through guided embodied meditation (based on Realization Process & Whole-Being Embrace), journaling, and discussion, this workshop offers you a new place to check back for support. Instead of patterns of relying on injured people from which your own limitations originally developed (or your inner critic that emerged as a result), you learn to experience support in the deeper, uninjured ground of creativity within your own body.

Through Whole-Being Embrace with the Essence of Creativity:

  •  Discover what you feel, what brings you pleasure, what you want and do not want, and what feels effortlessly true for you.

  • The safety to trust your own experience, follow creative impulses that were shut down, and express more of who you authentically are.

This 2nd Chakra healing also changes how you relate to others.

  • Saying yes or no does not threaten your sense of connectedness.

  • Pleasure and spontaneity emerge without shame.

  • Relationships become less organized around people-pleasing, withdrawal, or control struggles over giving and receiving, and whose needs matter more.

  • Support the emergence of authentic relationships and a more liberated, true-to-you way of living.
